Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)

Deep veins lie near the bones, surrounded by muscle, and return 85% of the blood to the heart.

Blood clot of the deep vein of the legs, called DVT, can have lethal outcomes. A portion of the leg clot can break off and move up to the lungs. This is known as a pulmonary embolism. Pulmonary embolism can cause SUDDEN DEATH!!...goshh! dats y FT arituh suspek pneumonia..sebenarnya die ada pulmonary embolism disebbkan DVT..

Virshow's Triad

• hypercoagulability
• endothelial injury - damage to the vein walls, which can occur during surgery as the physician retracts, twists, folds, or manipulates veins
• venous flow disturbance

Pada hemat saya, FT kne DVT mayb komplikasi dr surgery kat kaki masa cedera men futsal..

Symptoms of DVT

• pain
• sudden swelling in affected leg
• enlargement of superficial veins
• reddish-blue discoloration
• skin that is warm to the touch

Saya amat heart broken kerana salah jawab soalan di atas pada exam tgh hari td..

hishh...soalan senang pon bleh salah...soalan pasal FT plak tuh..

one quote i got from MSCIA medule.. and i really like it.. petikan dari oka... ex-president mscia.. tp x sure la if plagiarism.. haha

dia gunakan in sense of public health, but this quote has a wide meaning to it..

if in public health management it mention that we have to think globally as in dont just think small but widely.. but the actions start form a small area, sch as the in stdnt community, or a small area.. we cant change the nation drastically, but we cant start from low..=)

But i would like to use it in our daily life.. in my life..
1) as a student : think far, aim high and work for it!..doc to be mostly we hv our aim to become a specialist one day, but from where we start?? ofcoz our studies, kalau dari sekarang pon x berusaha, x blajar bersungguh2, mcm ner nk berjaya? .. that goes 4 u shemort!!! belajar biar rajin!!

2) living in a community : dalam bbrpe tahun ni bnyk kes yang i think should use this petikan.. cth kasus, global warmng, polution, rapes, maksiat yg berleluasa.. n so on... apa kaitan?? haha..

dalam membendung semua2 ni bnyk pihak main peranan, tapi sape yg paling berperanan?? diri kite, we ourselve.. sape lg klo bkn kita.. bnyk kempen2 yg membawa kepada perubahan sikap manusia, tp apa nk berubah kalau manusia tu sendiri xnk berubah, btol x? mcm kita sekarang, remaja mostly, ramai x fikir luas2, x fikir consequences.. bila dah jadi baru nk nyesal.. huhu

so apa kita buat?? mulakan dr tmpt/community kecil.. kalau kita berteman, biarla sentiasa nasihat menasihati ke arah yg baik (mama selalu pesan, tu yg kalau dtegur kena terima je, walaupun pahit dgr cz kdg2 tak knl diri kite) * but personally i think its very hard to slg tegur menegur.. huhu

dlu2 kalau stop kat R&R mama xpnh x bising, haha.. napela manusia2 xske keep the tnds clean? kalau setiap org ambil initiative sebelum keluar bersihkan tandas mesti xperlu pon cleaner.. tndskan tmpt yg plg bnyk germs so tandsla seharunye tempat plg bersih! oleh itu biarla kita strt bersih kt rumah2 kita dlu thn secara x lgsng mesti kita akn menjaga kebersihan our community (pesanan dr mama..=D).. itu yg dikatakan act locally..
u think global (effects,how, why, etc..), act locally,the effect will be global too.. =)

k la mcm pnjg plak,.. haha.. nk tulis lg tp esok exam, tkt lupa sbnrnye.. x sedar time dh berlalu.. okla study time!..
